Last week I worked crazy hours in order to get a server upgrade done, so my boss said that I can take off this Friday since I am salary. Woo! So, what to do with a day of unexpected freedom?

It is cool to get a day like that, almost a comp day isn’t it?

Yeah, basically. This company usually doesn’t do stuff like that but I got shafted earlier this year by working through a 3 day holiday weekend and getting nothing for it. We got a new COO and he seems to be taking care of things!

I’m so excited! OoO - AND - get this! I talked to him and he’s going to let me switch it to NEXT Friday. So - I get a 4 day 4th of July weekend! Damn, its my lucky day
