My friends - I miss having people around who knew me ‘back in the day.’ People who can tell funny stories about the dumb things I did when I was young. I’ve been really going through this whole ‘I want roots’ phase.

In the short hair pictures? Taking the shot? Yep, that’s me, in Chicago for my 21st birthday 
We were at Dick’s Last Resort. The girl is Sophie. She lives in Canada. She has a yummy French accent. /drool Some day, maybe I will show you the pics I didn’t post Lemme just tell you this…a Chinese bar filled with Navy men just off the boat and two women dancing together…Interesting times *evil grin*

The plan is before the end of the summer. I need to get moved. At least you won’t be so far away once I get to Dallas :p

Funny reading about Dick’s Last Resort. I ate there when I was in Chicago as well, but strange as it may sound, it is not really a hopping place in early February for a late lunch. SOunds like you had a bit wilder time than I did

Did you see the pictures on my short hair thread that she is asking about? I was in Chicago for over 2 months in Jan and Feb, then had another training class just in time for my 21st birthday. I have pictures, but things like that can never be posted on the Internet

1. Best childhood memory?
Um… I don’t think I can put my finger on any one occurance. I used to spend every summer up until the age of 14 with my late Grandparents. I would stay up late with my Grandmother watching the Tonight Show & Letterman & playing Rummikub. She would let me sleep late & cook breakfast for me at noon. My Grandfather would take me fishing & taught me how to ride a bike. I just have a general pleasant memory of my summers growing up. My Grandparents passed away a few years ago, & I miss them intensely. I don’t really like to talk about them much because I can’t really do that without crying. BUt I guess spending time with them is my best memory of my childhood.
2. Describe yourself in one word, and then explain why.
Goofy. I am the dork who in high school used to chew the end of my Bic ballpoint pen in class, then walk around all day smiling at everyone with purple teeth. Nuff said.
3. Name one person you’d like to have sex with, but haven’t.
Are we talking celebrities here? I dunno Anjelina Jolie? But only if she didn’t say anything. I saw an interview with her & she was pretty vapid. IRL- there is no one. I’m pretty particular.
4. What item do you have that means the most to you?
A ring that I had made from a piece of jewelry that belonged to my Grandmother.
5. If you could show me one thing, what would it be?
The Way, Grasshopper. I’d show you the Way. Seriously, I don’t know that I would have anything worth showing you. But I’m sure there is a thing or two that you could show me…
