A Sneak Peak Into My Crazy Life as I Try to Get Through Nursing School,
and the Technology, Books, Movies, Music & Lyrics I Enjoy
Yes, yes…I am still alive. Life has been all kinds of crazy since I last wrote. I’ve got some pictures, but no way to upload them, so you’ll just have to wait, I guess.
I’m on my lunch break, so this will be short. Hmm. Should I write a summary of everything, or just start at the beginning?
Let’s see…
Oh hell. I don’t even know where to begin. I’m sitting here trying to eat my Chinese food and I am speechless. Yes, it does happen. Just don’t tell anyone.
My sister and I took my nephews to the zoo while I was in Houston. It was fun, until a bee stung my sister. She is allergic, so we had to get out of there. I had Benadryl in my car, but she wound up having to go to the doctor. But, we did get to see the baby giraffe before the nasty bee intruded on our day – it was just a few days old! Soooo cute!
Feck. I haven’t even started on the important stuff and lunch is over. More later. I just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive and kicking.

I am! I’m walking around humming crazy songs like “There’s a bluebird on my shoulder” and silly things like that. I am a goofy gal.

I’m glad to be back. I prolly still won’t be able to post near as much as I was…at least until I get some type of Inet connection at home.
Check your email!

Missed my QM/MQ.
Glad to hear all is going well.
Did you just say Feck? next thing you knwo you will be saying Frell or Smeg
Comment by grizzilla — August 25, 2004 @ 12:08 pm
I use the word Smeg, in such terms as “Smeg off, you wanker” and “Piss off, Smeghead.” If there are any Brits around you when you say such things, they tend to get offended or give you a thumbs up.
Glad you’re alive and kickin, babe. Tell your sister to get a freakin Epipen. Bee/wasp/venom stings can go fatal in a hurry if she’s not careful. Her doc can perscribe an Epipen, they run about $20, and they’re longterm devices. Thinkabaoutit.
/hugs

Feck has been a staple in my vocab for awhile now ;p I actually say it outloud! Frell and Smeg…not so much :p
I’ll always be your QM/MQ!

She has scrip for an Epipen, but they want over $100 to fill it! Egads! She is trying to find a cheaper one - and they expire after 6 months. As a college student with 2 kids, that gets expensive.
I wanna start saying ‘bloody wanker’ I just like the sound of it
I need to figure out which knife I want now!
Thanks

Well, Dahne’s getting throwing knives. wonder if they look in her mail at the college…
Comment by chumas — August 26, 2004 @ 9:11 am
I remember my college had some strange rule about weapons in the mail. Our fencing blades had to be signed for and kept in a special room, but other than that, they didn’t check.

I’ll shove em into a stuffed animal then. Hmm… ramming a knife into a teddy bear seems kinda evil…
