Ah Pat Green is the man. Do you see him in concert much?

I have seen him in concert only once. But it was AWESOME. I always manage to miss him whenever he is in town. Have you ever seen him?
I love this part:
I wandered out into the water,
An’ I thought that I might drown.
I don’t know what I was after,
Just know I was goin’ down.
And that’s when she found me.
Not afraid anymore.
She said: “You know, I always had you, baby.
“Just waitin’ for you to find what you were lookin’ for.”
Well, the whole song is wonderful…but that part. That part. *sigh*

The first time I ever heard that song was when you sang it to me.
Now every time I hear that song I always hear you singing it.
It is funny how you can tie so much to music.
That was a good concert.

…at lunch, in my car, at the sea wall…
Poor thing. Hearing my singing voice in your head must be hell.
Yeah, but I was too friggin cold. I should have known better.
Hey, did you ever find that Tshirt? The one that girl was wearing that you liked?

Not at all… that is one of the best memories I have.
You should always hold on to the good memories so in bad times you have something to smile about. It makes me smile every time I hear it.
People always try to get me to dance to it, but I won’t. It’s your song.
My shirt kept you warm.
No! YOU were suppose to find that T-shirt for me.

He definitely puts on a great show. I have seen him a few times. Here in Arizona and in Texas. A friend of mine used to be Justin’s (Pat Green’s drummer) drum tech so I went out to Texas for the state fair when he played… oh whenever that was a couple years ago when the Dixie Chicks headlined … to see the show and see my friend. I was like their little errand bitch ha. Anyway, yeah, that is such a great part of that song
Hopefully he’ll play and you won’t miss him soon.
Does he play in TX a lot still or has it become less and less since he signed the major deal?
Do you like any other Texas musicians… like Terri Hendrix? Django Walker? Cross Canadian Ragweed? Reckless Kelly?… etc.

He still plays here fairly often, I just don’t go to many concerts. I’m upset because Jason Boland had a CD release part on Sunday but I didn’t find out until it was already started. I managed to talk a few different people into going with me, but they were all too far away and I didn’t know when it would end.
Texas music is awesome! Here in Dallas/Fort Worth, we have some really awesome radio stations. I like CCR, Reckless Kelly, Jason Boland, Roger Creager, the Robinson brothers (of course), Kelly Willis, Cory Morrow, Deryl Dodd, The Great Divide…Pretty much everything
Although, I am not familar with Terri Hendrix. Any good?

I like Terri Hendrix. She’s funky for sure. Super cool stage presence, pretty entertaining and funny in my opinion. She wears overalls and bad ass shoes for every show … at least she used to. I haven’t seen her lately. She is an awesome writer as well. Songs and prose. She has her monthly newsletter and always tells stories and her writing is just really… Entertaining I guess. My bad vocabulary is showing ha ha. Here is her schedule T Hendrix Shows . I don’t know if anything is close to you in TX, but just in case you want to look. I love Kelly Willis and Bruce and Charlie too. Do you know who Adam Carroll is by any chance?

She is playing here in Nov
Woo! I’ll have to get out there for it.
Wow, I don’t. This is sad - you know more about Texas music than I do!
