English Genius
You scored 100% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 94% Expert!
You did so extremely well, even I can’t find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don’t. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you’re not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
The Commonly Confused Words Test

Yes, I’m bored, but this is an interesting test. Now I want to know what I got wrong.
I always find it amusing when I score better on aspects that are considered more difficult. On the exit test for HS, I missed one question. I got all the higher math questions right, but I missed a simple long division question. Go figure.

I can’t take any test on grammar that starts out
“This results of this test will reflect your level of appropriate word usage. Have fun!”
I’m not a grammar nazi, but c’mon. If you’re gonna test people on grammar, at least make sure you aren’t making stupid mistakes yourself.

Good point :p
I liked this one because I’ve seen tests that check to see if you know the difference between accept and except, but never stationary and stationery or Sensual and Sensuous

sen·su·al Audio pronunciation of “sensual” ( P ) Pronunciation Key (snsh-l)
adj.
See Synonyms at sensuous.
- I know, I know, there is a difference, but they’re synonymns. It’s like “good” and “nice”
(stationary and stationery was a good one, though - I had never known there WAS a difference there)

I really suck at finding old comments lately…this is in response to something from your journal: I’m leaving this Saturday to go out of town and won’t be back until the following Sunday evening. Maybe I can catch you next time

Bummer. We have a ton of friends in the area, so I’ll definitely let you know the next time we head that way.
