Wowsers, have I been busy lately! I’m almost happy with my website. I changed the layout and tweaked some stuff. I think I might come out of this knowing php and css!

My life isn’t going to slow down any, either. We are going to California this weekend. After that, we have our poker party, Mother’s Day, my sister’s graduation, Memorial Day, my sister’s housewarming party, my birthday, SK’s birthday and a trip to Florida. Whew!

I don’t get how Tivo figures out the recommended shows. Among my top season passes, I had Alias, Ultimate Fighter, Poker, and MXC. But do you want to know what it recommends I watch? Home & Garden. Now, I like those ‘fix up your house’ type shows, but come on!

Did anyone else watch Ultimate Fighter? The final light heavyweight fight was AWESOME.

Hormones can bite my arse.

I was in such a bad mood yesterday. I had a training class yesterday morning, so I was offline. When I got in, I started checking email and found out my new pet project was displaying errors. I just started telling people about my site the day before, asking them to take a look. I was really embarrassed when I started getting emails telling me that it wasn’t showing up right.

I research the error message, and found out it’s a problem with mysql. In order to resolve it, my host has to do something. Well, my host is cheap and has great up time, but the only way I can get in touch with them is via email. I submit a ticket, and don’t get a response.

I start researching new hosts – Is it too much to ask to find one with available tech support? I find one that seems decent and try to start an account. “Error: We detect you are trying to commit fraud. Submit a trouble ticket and someone will research.”

Okay, fine. I go to the link and try to submit the ticket, but the form requires a user name and password for an account. But I don’t have an account! You.Won’t.Let.Me.Create.One

Then, my ISP goes down. Guess I’ll worry about my website later. Since my pc was acting all weird, I decide I’ll see if I can figure out what’s wrong with it.. Virus scan, nothing. Spybot, nothing. Ad aware, nothing. Over 60% free space. Defrag is fine. Page file is fine. Still not responding well.

Calgon, take me away.

I know I’m not the only one hating daylight savings time. How can I be expected to climb out of bed when I wake up snuggled up to a beautiful nekkid woman and it’s still dark outside!? There should be a law against that.

I did manage to have a productive evening last night. I unpacked and organized quite a bit while SK napped. After being attacked by the hanger monster, I decided I’d been productive enough for the evening. I played poker and worked on my website. Later, we had a picnic on the living room floor and watched TV. Have I mentioned how much I love my Tivo?

This weekend was beautiful. We went out the art gallery and bought stuff to fill the few remaining empty places on our walls. I got this sweet necklace that is made out of an old typewriter key. Sunday, we played miniature golf with SK’s dad and then went out to eat dinner on the lake. I cannot wait until the water warms up!

I hate work more and more, but for some reason I am not motivated to update my resume. What is wrong with me?

On another note, do you think it’s possible to make myself sick on maple-glazed donuts?

Is it a good ice cream truck? Or one of those crappy ones that never have the kind I want?

Haha! I figured out my problem with my software yesterday shortly after I made my entry. It’s installed on the server and now I just need to finish configuring it and get my first article written. Wahoo!

SK and I have so many plays to see! Her parents gave us tickets to one play, she won tickets to another in a charity auction and I got her a season pass to a different theatre for Vday. Since we are going to California later this month, it’s going to take A LOT of juggling to fit it all in.

My Happy Bunny sticker has been getting a lot of attention at work. Maybe it’s inappropriate to have something in my cube that says, “It’s not my fault you’re so dumb.”

I’ve had a very blah week. I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend. How about you?
