The Ultimate Fighter 2

by @ 1:52 pm on September 13, 2005. Filed under Life | Sports | Television

I have no idea why Rich Franklin agreed to let Marcus Davis to fight Joe Stevenson. If someone doesn’t stop this “two tough guys fight it out” thing, then we’ll wind up with another Diego Sanchez/Kenny Florian fight - boring! I’ll give Joe credit, but maybe with a few more weeks of training, Marcus might have done better in the same match up.

I do know one thing - ole Jorgie-boy (Jorge Gurgel) knew he was coming out a winner either way. By talking Marcus into challenging Joe, Jorge would say goodbye to a tough opponent either way. At least someone in the house went to sleep with a smile.

  1. This guy

    is my friend’s brother.
Although I have to wonder where exactly “New” Hyde Park is.

Damn Chaminade alumni. You could go to Antarctica and still find one Chaminade alumni and one Shen alumni arguing over who’s school had a worse football team.

  2. The varsity football team at my high school lost every game my Freshman through Junior years. Can you beat that?

That guy is kinda…different. Is your friend like that?

  3. Beats me, it wasn’t my high school. Just every time my friends from that area go anywhere, they run into a Shen alumni. Even in a backwoods, one horse, one road town like Steamboat Wisconsin, on the other side of the country.

I don’t know Luke or his brother very well yet. I’ve only hung out with Zach a few times. All I know is when you get Zach drunk, he makes extremely funny random philosophical comments. Like “how could the Catholic church possibly be expected to anticipate Wireless Bluetooth?”.

They are both total geeks, though.

  4. I finally got to see an episode!!!

I guess I need to see more shows… but where the others I missed any better. All they were talking about was alliances and tough guy this and that. I am really starting to get tired of the word alliance…

I just want to see good fighters training and fighting to reach their dream… not what drama happens in the locker room.

  5. Which one did you watch? The one I wrote about?

The fight is always at the end. Last season was better, IMO, but this season is still worth watching.

  6. Yep.. I saw the one you wrote about…

I will agree with you on that.
