We were supposed to be going to California this weekend, but it looks like we won’t be going. Since Rita has been upgraded to a cat 4 hurricane, my sister and her family want to head out of Houston and Jac needs to get out of Corpus Christi.

I told Jac that SK and I are hanging a sign on the front door that says, “Hurricane Party.”

I hope it doesn’t do any damage, but it will be nice to see my boys again!

He’s lucky, because everyone is so paranoid after Katrina they aren’t taking any chances. I think most if not all of coastal Texas is under mandatory evacuation right now.
