If it’s a ridiculous requirement (As in, say writing 500 words paraphrasing 2 sentences, and yes I’ve gotten that) then complain. Rattle the bars, tip the boat, squeaky wheel and all that.

The great thing about going back to college is that you’re not a little kid anymore. Now we old folks know how buisness works, so we can do stuff like demand our money back for professors who are just on power trips.
