A Sneak Peak Into My Crazy Life as I Try to Get Through Nursing School,
and the Technology, Books, Movies, Music & Lyrics I Enjoy
A bunch of people had asked me about my lasik surgery. SK took this picture of my eye last night. It looks a lot better now than it did on Friday.

But, most of the questions are about my night vision. I can actually read signs earlier, which is nice when trying to find a new place. But, lights are still a bit blurry. I couldn’t figure out how to explain what the lights looked like…but then SK took this picture of Toby and I had the perfect example! Just pretend Toby’s eyes are lights and that is the effect right now.

It hasn’t even been a week yet, so I’m sure it will get better.

Your vision should continue to improve over time, mine did. I had Lasik waaaaay back in 2000, and it took several months for me to stop pulling out the reading glasses for small print. Of course, given enough time and those pesky things will once again adorn my nose when I encounter small print. I also had some initial problems with distant vision and sign fuzziness first thing in the morning, but this usually cleared up once I’d been awake for a few hours. But, as with everything, your mileage will vary.
