Happy New Year! Yeah, I know it’s a little late but you know how things are around the holidays.
We rang in the New Year in style by attending a murder mystery dinner (Baby New Year) and staying overnight in the hotel. The murder mystery was fun, and the dinner was fancy. I’d never had an intermezzo before. This one was lavender and mint flavored. Once I shook the feeling that I was eating some of our lavender vanilla lotion from Bath & Bodyworks, I found I actually liked the taste of it.
It was great to be able to drink as much as we wanted, and only have to worry about making it upstairs to our room. The chocolate covered strawberries that waited for us in our room were a tasty addition to our post-midnight celebrations, and the 5pm check-out time ensured we could take our time ringing in the New Year.
It will be hard to improve on my 2005, but I think 2006 can do it!

The GF and I spent the evening at home watching DVDs together withteh fire roaring and we rang in the new year together.
While it was not the fanciest it was easily one of thebest new year’s eves ever.

I played a 50 cup game of beer pong with my friends at a small party, then we all passed out on the couch, woke up, watched DVD’s and ate chinese food, and then played Vampire the Masquerade until 8pm, then we played Risk until 2am on January 2nd.
It was a very good year.
