It has been tougher to watch this year, I agree.

I like watching the coverage on the Canadian channel CBC. They seem to do a better job of actually coverng the sport as opposed to NBC that likes to focus onlyon the events were the US is going to win a medal and is a good human interest story.

She hasn't seen Star Wars either?

I tried showing the original movie to TheGrildfriend, but after avbout 30 minutes she was giving me the "bored now" sigh. She said she was just tired, but I was ableto use my finely tuned boyfriend intuition and we found something else to watch. (In this case Ultimate Fighting Championships greatest knockouts. Yep, my gal likes seeing the big boys beat each other up)

We definitely need to figure out a plan.

You know I am always willing to come to Texas, it is just when I am able (and also when it is under 100 degrees:))

Briani -- I have yet to convince Jaxia that she needs to see Star Wars (even though I have the original trilogy on both VHS and DVD and have explained to her that it is unAmerican and just plain weird to be a child of the 70's who has missed this rite of passage). So, yes: I can believe that there are still people out there that have access to electricity and have not seen Star Wars. Any chance you'd be willing to come to Texas and help me convince her? :-D
