Here is a personality test that may help you see which area of nursing you should specialize in.  The site was designed to help medical students choose a medical specialty, but it should still be useful for nursing students.

It told me I should go into nuclear medicine, emergency medicine, or aerospace medicine.

Were you beginning to wonder if I was stuck under a pile of textbooks?  Have no fear; SK dug me out after I finished my final on Thursday.

Our trip to Atlanta was wonderful and relaxing.  I really enjoyed being able to share some of my childhood memories from Helen, Georgia with SK.  We even made the trek up to Anna Ruby Falls.  Ah, I love waterfalls!  We also spent a day out at Stone Mountain.  I didn’t know what to expect, but I enjoyed it.  Personally, I like to read historical markers, and Stone Mountain was chock full of them!  We took the Sky Cab up to the top of the mountain and found a spot to sit down.  The hawks were circling nearby, and we had to look down through the clouds to see the tree tops.  There aren’t many experiences that can compare to that.

I haven’t been feeling so hot for the last week and a half or so.  I think I caught the creepy crud.  Coughing, sneezing, stuffy nose and all that fun stuff.  I swallow pills every few minutes and drink enough Airborne to keep a whole union employed.  I’m ready to feel better.  Now.  kplzthx.

If things look a little wonky around here, I’m moving all my sites to a new server again.  I think there were a couple of new comments posted on the old site after I copied the database, so if you noticed your comment missing, I apologize. But, if you are reading this, then you’ve found me!  Things should be back to normal soon.

Finally!  The Spring semester is over.  Going into this semester, I really put a lot of pressure on myself to come out with a 4.0 GPA in order to get into the nursing program.  I think I nearly drove SK batty because I was so stressed out.  Luckily, she kept me sane and grounded.

And, today it’s offical!

What a tremendous feeling of relief to see proof that all of the hard work was worth it!  Without SK, it wouldn’t have been possible, and I look forward to repaying her! 

Is America smoking crack?  That must be it.  America is smoking crack!

To be honest, I was worried for my girl, Katherine McPhee, going into last night’s show.  When they divided them up into two groups and said one was the top two, well, there was no way that Chris Daughtry was going home.  Even though DialIdol predicted it would be Chris, it had to be wrong.

And I cheered inside because I just *knew* that Elliott Yamin was on his way out.

Katherine has had the best voice all along, but she’s had a few sub par performances.  Taylor Hicks is fun to watch, but his voice isn’t anything worth writing home about.  If the goal of American Idol is to find a new duet partner for Kenny G, then I might understand why Elliott was in the top two.

(Honestly, you know my biggest problem with Elliott?  That fish face he makes when he is holding his notes.  If he wins, it will be proof that baby fish mouth is sweeping the nation.)

Chris, on the other hand, has the goods.  He’s consistent, and he’s entertaining.  When Ryan announced that Chris was going home, I think most of America was just as shocked as Chris.  The only comforting thing about it is that I bet he already had a recording contract waiting on him.

America, lay off the crack pipe, mmkay?

Yes, I do have a MySpace. Baa!

It seems like everyone has MySpace these days. People don’t ask for phone numbers, they just swap MySpace accounts!

I keep telling myself that I don’t care, that the world will not end if things don’t work out the way I want them to, but the knots in my stomach make a liar of me.
