We also recertify every year even though the card’s good for 2. Annoying and pricey! Apparently some affialiate of the school is making out well, though…

I’m a nursing student from New Brunswick…we also have to recertify our CPR every year. Very annoying for sure! We also have to get a criminal record check done every year. That’s pretty pricey too.

I just finished reading through many of your blog posts, and I am relieved to say that I too have had many of these same worries/feelings etc. over the course of my first semester of clinicals @ arizona state. I just wanted to commend you for writing it all down for random people, such as myself, to read. It really is helpful to know that you aren’t the only person in the world who is going through the same thing.
I mean, yes, there are your fellow nursing student buddies in your program, but still…sometimes I wonder if anyone else in the world understands.

And yes, our school makes you re-certify your CPR. It SUCKS! lol.
I wish you the best in your upcoming semesters! I am taking the time to re-motivate myself for Junior 2. I hope it gets better? (If that’s possible.)
